    • One-Step, Pigtail-Free Connection: The 550 Series eliminates the traditional video cable with a direct, one-step connection to the processor. Hot-plug capability allows scopes to be connected or exchanged without restarting the system, simplifying room setup and helping keep procedural workflow moving between cases.
    • Designed for Control and Maneuverability: An ergonomic control body, short distal bending radius, and graduated insertion-tube stiffness are engineered to provide responsive handling during colonoscopy. The combination supports efficient advancement and precise observation while helping reduce hand fatigue during longer or more technically demanding procedures.
    • Dedicated Water Jet for a Clearer Field of View: An integrated forward water-jet channel provides targeted irrigation to help clear mucus, blood, and debris from the field of view. Its alignment with the working-channel direction allows irrigation to be directed toward the area of interest while preserving the instrument channel for therapeutic accessories.
    • Capless Waterproof Design: 550 Series colonoscopes are designed for complete immersion during cleaning and high-level disinfection without requiring a separate waterproof cap. Eliminating this additional reprocessing step simplifies scope handling between procedures and reduces the potential for water intrusion associated with an incorrectly installed or forgotten waterproof cap.
