SonoScape Launches Endoscopy North America for U.S. Healthcare

New Endoscopy Systems Group, formed through a strategic partnership between SonoScape Medical Corporation and Rutledge Medical, establishes dedicated North American leadership, commercialization and support for SonoScape’s human endoscopy portfolio

TULSA, Okla. & SHENZHEN, China — August 22, 2026 — SonoScape Medical Corporation, a global medical technology company specializing in diagnostic imaging and endoscopy, today announced SonoScape Endoscopy North America as the official subsidiary distributor for SonoScape’s human medical endoscopy portfolio throughout the United States and Canada.

The new organization represents a strategic partnership between SonoScape Medical Corporation of Shenzhen, Guangdong, P.R. China, and Rutledge Medical of Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, combining SonoScape’s global endoscopy technology, research and development, and manufacturing capabilities with dedicated North American executive leadership, commercialization, service, clinical support and market-development infrastructure.

The partnership marks a significant expansion of SonoScape’s commitment to the North American gastrointestinal endoscopy market and establishes a dedicated organization focused specifically on the needs of U.S. and Canadian physicians, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and healthcare systems.

SonoScape’s presence in flexible endoscopy has grown significantly over the past decade through continued investment in high-definition video endoscopy, advanced endoscopic imaging and endoscopic ultrasound technologies. The company’s HD-550 Video Endoscopy System and associated 550-series video endoscopes received U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance in 2022, establishing the foundation for SonoScape’s expansion into the U.S. GI endoscopy market.

Dedicated North American Leadership

Rick Rutledge will serve as President & CEO of the Endoscopy Systems Group, leading the overall strategic direction, development and growth of SonoScape’s endoscopy business in North America.

A second-generation medical device executive and CEO of Tulsa-based Rutledge Medical, Rutledge brings decades of experience in endoscopy, medical device commercialization, distribution, service and alternative capital-equipment models. In his role, he will oversee the broader Endoscopy Systems Group strategy and the development of the commercial, service, technology and operational infrastructure required to support SonoScape’s long-term growth throughout North America.

Jeff Gosciminski will serve as Executive Vice President & General Manager, Human Endoscopy Solutions Group and Chief Commercial Officer, leading the commercialization process and strategy for SonoScape’s human medical endoscopy portfolio throughout North America.

Gosciminski will be responsible for developing and executing SonoScape’s North American human endoscopy commercial strategy, building the sales organization, expanding physician and health-system engagement, developing strategic relationships and establishing the market access necessary to grow SonoScape’s presence across U.S. and Canadian gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Together, Rutledge and Gosciminski will lead the development of a dedicated North American organization designed to compete beyond the traditional medical capital-equipment model.

Building a New Alternative in North American Endoscopy

SonoScape Endoscopy North America’s strategy will combine SonoScape’s endoscopic imaging technology and global manufacturing capabilities with dedicated U.S.-based commercial leadership, service and repair infrastructure, clinical support, education, digital workflow solutions and flexible equipment acquisition models.

The organization will focus not only on the acquisition of endoscopy systems and flexible endoscopes, but on the total lifecycle economics of endoscopy technology — including equipment access, uptime, service, repair, workflow efficiency and long-term cost of ownership.

This approach is designed to provide hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and physicians with greater choice in a North American flexible endoscopy market that has historically been concentrated among a limited number of manufacturers.

The partnership will also support continued development of SonoScape’s North American digital endoscopy ecosystem, including cloud-based image and video management, procedure documentation and reporting, interoperability and emerging workflow technologies designed to improve efficiency surrounding the endoscopy procedure.

SonoScape Endoscopy North America will support the continued introduction and expansion of SonoScape’s human endoscopy portfolio in accordance with applicable U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements.
